The University of Alberta Golden Bears and Pandas are pleased to offer the 15th annual Teacher’s Convention Camp.
The Teacher’s Convention Camp-2015 will provide an opportunity for club level and highly motivated community players to be involved in practices that focus on skill development and tactical understanding. The camp will take place at the Edmonton Soccer Centre - South.
This 2–day camp features 9 hours of quality instruction in a number of practice activities and games that have proven to help young soccer players develop the basic skills of soccer, while learning the essentials of team play. Participants in the camp will have an opportunity to be involved in a minimum of 2 games each day, allowing them to use the techniques and skills developed during their practices.
Goalkeepers will be provided with specialized instruction in all aspects of this demanding position. The Golden Bears and Pandas goalkeepers will provide the very best instruction for youth goalkeepers.
The coaches for the camp include current members of the tremendously successful Golden Bears and Pandas soccer programs many of whom have professional, national team, provincial select team, and Alberta Major Soccer League experience, along with appropriate coaching certification.
The camp will be designed and coordinated by Len Vickery, Head Coach of the Golden Bears and Director of the Green and Gold Soccer Academy based at the University of Alberta.
Camp Dates: February 26th and 27th, 2015 9:00am – 2:00pm Thursday and Friday
Ages: Boys and girls playing at the U-8, U-10, U–12 & U–14 level *Please note, that players must be at least 7 years old for registration.

Program: 9-11:30AM Practice/Games 11:30AM-Noon Lunch 12-2:00PM Practice/Games
First Day: Players to arrive and check-in at 8:30AM and picked-up at 2:00 PM
